Recently, I was asked this question,
“Man , how long does it take you to make one of those?” Referring to my new 1962 Catalina lower rear panels.
I had a longer more detailed answer but I had AI tighten it up.

Accurately timing a single part is impossible because a new product requires 4 to 8 weeks of grueling R&D failure before a perfected procedure even exists. Once mastered, parts are built exclusively in batches of ten to absorb the heavy toll of setups, tool changes, and cleanups, keeping the work mentally sustainable. Because making a single item requires the exact same setup and emotional overhead as a full batch, dividing total batch time by ten is a mathematical illusion that has no reflection on reality.
