Are pre purchase inspections important ? We vote yes this customer was interested in purchasing this 2015 Cadillac xts. Here’s what we found with just a simple walk around of the vehicle.

1. Hood and trunk were painted and horribly at that (shows signs of front and rear end collision.
2. The vehicles wheel was not straight when the wheels were (needs alignment , possible bent suspension components )
3. Bad driver side oil leak appears to be either from the power steering line or power steering pump.
4.engine timing cover leaking at the bottom side
5. Left rear shock absorber blown out and leaking oil.
6. Both license plate lights out
7. Missing washer fluid bottle lid.
8.both wipers destroyed
9. Oil level was about 1-2 qts low (possible leaks or burning oil/ oil consumption issues )
10. All four tires showing horrible dry rot and terrible wear damage vehicle needs al four tires replaced
11. Left rear tire sensor needs replacement
12. A simple vehicle health scan reviled over 8 history/current codes one of them being lost connection to air bag module.
13. The inspection stickers are expired and also fraudulent/fake back when they were installed in 2023 so the vehicle hasn’t passed a valid inspection in over3 years ….

These are all pretty expensive repairs for a Cadillac and most vehicles.

So in our opinion yes a pre purchase is worth it. We suggest spending the 130$ price to save you thousands and head aches of buying a lemon.

Always a great time at the Arasapha Farms car show. Great to see everyone. And great to see our favorite 32 coupe that we painted still bringing home trophies. First time it went to this show it won best of show then this year 2nd place for the hot rods. Feels good seeing our paint work and the customers build bring home trophies when so much time and effort goes into these car builds.
