Long before RBR Restoration became what it is today, it started with a family, a driveway, and a shared passion for classic cars. In this clip, Ron reflects on learning from his grandfather, restoring cars alongside his family, and the journey that turned a weekend hobby into the business RBR is today.

The cars may have changed over the years, but the passion behind every restoration hasn’t.

Over the years, Ron has built a collection of spray guns from brands like SATA, DeVilbiss, and 3M, each chosen for a specific purpose. From primer and basecoat to clear coat, every gun plays a role in achieving a show-quality finish.

Not every step in the paint booth has always stayed the same 👀

Before the final coat of base is applied, Ron uses an anti-static gun from Static Solutions to remove static electricity from the panels. Less static means less dust attracted to the surface, helping create an even cleaner finish.

It’s one of the many ways RBR Restoration combines decades of craftsmanship with modern technology to deliver the best possible results.
