It's a value so important that it inspired the very beginning of our company. Bobby Rahal was so impressed with the salesmanship and service provided by Ron Ferris, then a Chicago-area sales consultant, that the two partnered
to open the first dealership in our group: Bobby Rahal Honda. Bobby, now Chairman, and Ron, Chief Executive Officer, along with Chief Financial Officer Bob Vladem, formed the original founding team. Since our start in 1989, leaders John Rickards and Eric Hessinger, team members since day one, now serve as President/Area Managers for the Harrisburg and Pittsburgh regions. Opening in January 1989, Bobby Rahal Honda set a high standard for customer satisfaction, earning Honda's "President's Award" 26 times since the award's inception in 1994. In 1997, Bobby Rahal Automotive Group expanded to the Pittsburgh region with the addition of Bobby Rahal Motorcar Company, a Mercedes-Benz Dealership. Today, the group proudly operates 11 dealerships across Pennsylvania, continuing our commitment to delivering exceptional service and upholding the values on which we were founded.
