This is a metapillar, lol, they grow inside your differential housings, looks like a big bug or something , if you see one growing this big in yours your probably upset.. but at shift we clean the habitat and get rid of metapillars, clean it out so you could eat out of it if you wanted as you see here in the 3rd pic.
The dealer don’t give a bonus or raise unless the mechanic is efficient, guess what trying to be more efficient(doing the job fast) and the mentality the younger generation’s have , you probably have metapillars when you shouldn’t...

This is what you get when you buy a reman transmission, pitted gears, range cylinder that looks like a galled engine cylinder, as you can see it was eating the O-ring that shifts your synchronizer. All this is guarantees you to be broke down prematurely. The shadetree guy probably wouldn’t catch or care about these issues. So bring it to me if you want it fixed right..
