🚨 Planning to spectate the Boone Forest Rally? Read this before you hit the road! 🚨

The fastest way to ruin your rally day is showing up late. Roads close before each stage, parking fills quickly, and once the stage goes hot, access is restricted.

📍 Where to Watch
🏁 Turkey Foot Campground – First car: 9:15 AM
🌲 S-Tree Tower / Whetstone Rd – First car: 10:20 AM
🔥 Hale Ridge / Todd Rd – First car: 4:37 PM
🏆 Final Stage & Trophy Celebration – 7:00–10:00 PM

⏰ Our advice: Plan to arrive at least an hour early. This gives you plenty of time to park, walk to the viewing area, and get settled before the action begins.

⚠️ Know Before You Go
• Turkey Foot road closes at 8:00 AM
• S-Tree Tower road closes at 9:00 AM
• Hale Ridge road closes at 3:00 PM
• Some stages run twice, and spectators may not be permitted to leave between runs.

🦺 Help us keep everyone safe
Rally cars can appear faster than you expect. Always:
✅ Follow marshal instructions.
✅ Stay inside designated spectator areas.
✅ Never stand below road level or on the outside of a corner.
✅ Do not cross the course after the first course car has passed.
✅ Keep emergency lanes clear.
✅ Bring water, sunscreen, bug spray, and comfortable shoes—some of the best viewing spots require a short walk.
✅ Pack out your trash and leave the forest better than you found it.

Cell service is limited throughout the forest, so download your maps and review the Spectator Guide before heading out.

🏁 Heading out to watch the 2026 Boone Forest Rally? Here’s everything you need to know before you go!

We’ve created multiple designated spectator areas so you can experience the action safely while getting incredible views of the rally.

- July 25th
📍 Spectator Areas & First Car Times
• Turkey Foot Campground – First car at 9:15 AM
• S-Tree Tower / Whetstone Rd – First car at 10:20 AM
• Hale Ridge / Todd Rd – First car at 4:37 PM
• Final Stage & Trophy Celebration – 7:00–10:00 PM

⏰ Arrive EARLY!
We strongly recommend arriving at least one hour before the first competition car. Roads close before each stage begins, and once they’re closed, you may not be able to access the spectator area. Parking is limited, so carpool if possible.

⚠️ Important Road Closures
• Turkey Foot access road closes at 8:00 AM
• S-Tree Tower access closes at 9:00 AM
• Hale Ridge closes at 3:00 PM

Please remember that some stages run twice, and at certain locations you will not be able to leave between runs, so plan accordingly.

Our marshals are there to keep everyone safe—please listen to them at all times.

✔️ Stay in designated spectator areas.
✔️ Never stand on the outside of a corner or below road level.
✔️ Keep an escape route in mind at all times.
✔️ Do not cross or walk on the stage road after the first course car has passed.
✔️ Expect dust, rocks, and gravel from passing rally cars.
✔️ Leave emergency access lanes open.
✔️ Pack water, sunscreen, bug spray, snacks, and be prepared for limited cell service.
✔️ Pack out everything you bring in.
