Meet Frankie! 🐾

Frankie is a handsome 4-year-old Puggle (Pug/Beagle mix) who has only ever known the love of one family. Due to recent life changes, they can no longer keep him, so this sweet boy is searching for a new forever home to call his own. 💕

Frankie previously lived with another dog and did great, and he’s currently in a foster home learning the ropes of life with new canine friends. He could use a bit more exercise (and maybe a few green beans in his bowl) to help him reach a healthier weight, but he’s full of love and ready to be your loyal companion.

If you’re interested in adopting Frankie, please contact us or fill out an adoption application on our website to give this adorable Puggle the happy ending he deserves.

Meet Adele 🐾

This gorgeous 35 lb “phantom” girl is a breeder release who spent the first four years of her life in a kennel, raising litter after litter. Now she’s finally getting her own chance to be loved, and she’s discovering how wonderful the real world can be. Adele is calm, very sweet, and walks beautifully on leash. She’s learning to go potty on walks and has quickly fallen in love with soft dog beds, cozy blankets, and cuddling up on the couch. 🛋️

Adele will need a very patient, committed home with another friendly dog to help show her the ropes. Because of her background, we’re looking for an adult-only home (no small children) and she must go to a cat-free home. Her new family should be comfortable with her enjoying the furniture and willing to give her the time, structure, and gentle encouragement she needs to blossom.

If you’re drawn to Adele because you want to help her become the best dog she can be—and not just because she’s a purebred—please fill out our online application at www.aheartforanimals.org. Adoption fee is $600.

Meet Darcy!

5-year-old German Shepherd Mix Approximately 60 lbs

Darling Darcy is a beautiful, intelligent, and incredibly special girl who is ready to find her forever family!

Darcy is highly intelligent, food-motivated, and eager to please. She is an amazing problem solver and picks things up quickly. She takes direction beautifully and already knows sit, down, come, leave it, and stay. She has also mastered using a dog door.

Once Darcy gets to know you, her sweet and loving personality shines through. She can be a little cautious with new people at first, but give her some time and she'll become a loyal and devoted companion. She would thrive with regular exercise and plenty of mental stimulation to keep her happy and fulfilled.

She does well with dogs and cats and enjoys going for walks. She is a good leash walker and loves being with her people. Darcy is the kind of dog who wants to be part of the family and happily follows her person around.

Darcy came into rescue after her family surrendered her and her two daughters after they lost their home. Through no fault of her own, this wonderful girl found herself needing a new home. Now she's looking for someone who will appreciate what an amazing dog she is and give her the loving, stable home she deserves.

If you're looking for a smart, loyal, affectionate, and trainable companion, Darling Darcy could be the perfect addition to your family. She has so much love to give and is ready to start the next chapter of her life.

If interested, please fill out our online application at www.aheartforanimals.org.

Her adoption fee is $350.

Meet Captain! 🐾

This adorable shortie is about 5 years old and has a big, friendly heart. He loves people of all ages and is great with both adults and kids, and he enjoys the company of other dogs too. Captain currently lives with cats in his foster home, but they make him a bit anxious, so he’ll do best in a loving, cat-free home where he can truly relax and shine. ❤️

Adoption fee is $250. If you’re interested in giving Captain his forever family, please fill out our adoption form at www.aheartforanimals.org.
