Allow us to introduce you to one of the most exciting acts for Lakefest 2026, Yellow Banks!
Hailing from Owensboro, KY, Yellow Banks is a country and western band made up of five incredibly talented musicians — James Elliott, Tristan Howard, Bean Boyer, Scott Ethridge, and Matthew Smith.
What makes this band truly special is the unique musical identity that each member brings to the table. Their sound is unlike anything you've heard before, blending traditional country, western swing, rockabilly, and even traces of funk and psychedelic music into something that is entirely, unapologetically their own.
From the moment these five came together, they knew they had something special. Their chemistry is undeniable, electric performances, hard-hitting lyrics, pounding bass and drums, and soulful, crying guitar from every corner of the stage. It didn't take long before they were hitting stages in Lexington, Louisville, Nashville, and everywhere in between, including an appearance on the Fourth Street Live Main Stage in Louisville and a headlining spot at East Main Market in Leitchfield, KY.
As if that wasn't enough, Yellow Banks has poured their heart and soul into crafting a full-length album that captures everything they've discovered about themselves as a band. Raw, meaningful, and felt through every single note, this album is a testament to just how far they've come in such a short amount of time.
