This one dang near broke us in spirits and on the just like laying down and letting somebody beat you with a ball bat aspect. We don't back down from much. Setting 15 years, 54k lbs rusted tracks and sunken in the mud, pony motor filled with water and broke way 1.5 miles back in. Only way it was coming out was under its own power and we weren't even sure about that. A whole lot of what are we doing let's just call it and go home and 2 times stopping and just regroup. Butttt 3 total days, numerous broken chains, oil, antifreeze, 3 permits, one cell phone we can't even find remnants of, 4 trips 177 miles on a round, 13 hrs braking it down and digging it out the 1.5 mile camp road in the hills of Clearfield, (if you know you know) the you ain't gonna believe how we got it started by wrapping a 2" strap around the pulleys on the front of the dampener like a giant Briggs and Stratton motor and pulling it 10 times hooked to the forks on the skid steer because we didn't stand a chance wrestling it to push it like planned (I s**t you not) it fired and ran on 5. Spent another 2 hrs removing covers to only suceed in getting one side steering clutches loose and with only one steering brake barely enough to half ass turn it Connor followed me with the skid steer to help turn it drove out and on the trailer. It's a story I gotta say we're proud of. We should of had video of the whole thing. 3 have looked and walked away. No plans for it but to set here in it's new home for a conversation Pc. Checked off the list and ain't rushing back to do it again.
