* We work by appointment only - Your time scheduled is YOUR time! Rest assure you are our #1 priority. We are a husband & wife team. Family owned & operated now for 26 years!
* We do not / will not us

e parts a customer provides. As we can not provide a warranty for that. There are no exceptions.
* We do not make house calls or come to sites, vehicles would have to be towed to us.
* We have spent many years in education, training, further education to stay up to date, and many $$$ in tools. We do not loan tools out, yes there are people who call and will ask this crazy question.
* We do not diagnose vehicles over the phone. To have the best service, quality repair, time & knowledge are needed, we provide that.
* If you are a no show for appointments, without a call cancellation, we will show grace, things happen, we get that! But if it happens twice, we will not schedule you. We have spent many years building a client base who trust us, who wait on us for appointments, as we are the trusted Automotive shop in town who specialize & are trained in Imports. * Please know, if we get ahead in our repairs, or we have a cancellation, we will start calling and moving appointments up earlier, to give you a quicker appointment.
* Checkouts are not free (sorry folks we have to pay bills just like you), but we are honest and fair in price. There are other shops who will tell you they do checkouts & diagnosing for free to get you in the door, but they roll the checkout cost into your repair. We don’t believe in price gouging. We don’t have hidden costs. We will always provide an estimate before doing a repair.
* On your appointment day, Please have your phone & be available, if we call and cannot reach you, that will delay your repair time. As we will have to move your car out, and start on the next vehicle that is scheduled.
* We also work on American vehicles !

* We look forward to serving you, and earning your trust !!

Another busy day in the shop, and we’re thankful for every customer who trusts us with their vehicles!

Today’s lineup included:

• A Kia Telluride that came in with a running concern. After getting some overdue maintenance handled and checking things over, we were able to get it running much better.

• A Nissan Sentra that received a major front-end suspension rebuild due to worn components. This one left riding smoother and, most importantly, safer for the road ahead.

• A Volkswagen Tiguan from a first-time customer needing diagnostics for a running issue and a full vehicle check-over to see what maintenance and repairs may be needed. We appreciate the opportunity to earn new customers’ trust.

• And a Toyota from a returning customer who recently purchased another vehicle and wanted us to go through it thoroughly with maintenance services including transmission service, oil change, spark plugs, etc.

Every vehicle and every customer situation is different, and we’re always grateful for the opportunity to help keep people safely on the road. Thank you all for continuing to support our family business !

It’s National Small Business Appreciation Week ❤️

Small businesses make up 99.9% of all businesses in the U.S. — which honestly sounds unbelievable until you realize that includes family shops, repair shops, salons, coffee stands, food trucks, contractors, boutiques, online sellers, and so many people simply trying to build something of their own.

Only about 0.1% are the huge corporations everyone thinks about like Walmart, Amazon, Apple, Target, etc.

Another statistic that really stood out to us: around 82% of small businesses are solo or family-run businesses. Behind those businesses are long days, late nights, stress, sacrifice, determination, and people doing everything they can to keep their doors open.

Businesses like ours survive because of loyal customers, word of mouth, recommendations, reviews, patience during busy weeks, and people choosing to support local.

We truly appreciate every single one of you more than you know. ❤️

We’ve been a little quiet on here lately… the shop has definitely been keeping us busy.

Tommy’s been staying focused on diagnostics and repairs, taking the time to make sure everything is done correctly and thoroughly.

We handle both diagnostic and mechanical auto repair on imports and American vehicles.

A mix of troubleshooting and repairs has been going through the shop lately over here at Sherman's Import Tek. Every job is a little different, and we make sure each vehicle gets the attention it needs.

We truly appreciate the trust you place in us, we wouldn't be here without you!

Some of what we’ve had in the shop this past week…

A little bit of everything — from diagnostics on imports to helping customers keep their daily drivers on the road. Volkswagen, Audi, Nissan, Ford… even a Suzuki Samurai rolled through the shop.

Every vehicle has its own story. Sometimes it’s a simple fix. Sometimes it takes real diagnostic time to track down what’s actually going on.

That’s the part people don’t always see.

We’re an appointment-only shop, and we’re usually booked out a few weeks. Not because we’re trying to be hard to get into — but because we take the time to diagnose vehicles properly instead of guessing and throwing parts at them.

If you’re new here and just finding us, welcome. We appreciate the trust people place in us.

Y’all… this one turned into a full-on rat Airbnb 😩

This 2009 Toyota Tundra came in and we didn’t just open the hood… we uncovered a whole rental property.

Nesting packed everywhere.
Seeds, debris, droppings all through the engine bay.
And wiring buried underneath it all (never a good sign).

I’m not even kidding — just being around it, I can already feel a respiratory thing trying to start 🤧 That stuff is no joke.

This isn’t just a mess either. It can cause electrical issues, driveability problems, and some real health concerns if it’s not handled properly.

But… good news — Tommy is a BEAST when it comes to diagnostics.
He’s gonna go through it, clean it up right, track down anything damaged, and get this truck back where it needs to be.

If you’ve got a vehicle sitting, especially this time of year, it’s worth checking. Rodents love engine bays… apparently prime real estate.
