🚨 Community Awareness Notice – Mock Car Crash Demonstration 🚨

On May 1st at 12:30 PM, the Maynard Police & Fire Departments will be conducting a Mock Car Crash demonstration outside of the High School Auditorium.

This realistic training scenario is designed to show our students the very real dangers of distracted driving—and more importantly, that these tragedies are entirely preventable.

While this demonstration is geared toward our high school students, the message extends far beyond the classroom. It’s a powerful reminder for all drivers—from our newest drivers to the most experienced behind the wheel—that one decision can change everything.

⚠️ Please be aware: You may see emergency vehicles and activity in the area during this time. This is for a demonstration, not an actual emergency.

Together, we hope to make an impact, start conversations, and reinforce a simple but critical message:
