Yark Toyota

We kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness Month yesterday, and Yark Toyota is proud to continue showing our support all October long! 💗

Yesterday, our team started the month by wearing pink and coming together to support those affected by breast cancer. And we’re just getting started!

🎀 Pink Thursdays: We’ll be wearing pink every Thursday throughout October to spread awareness and show our support.

💗 Every Car Purchase Gives Back: A portion of every car purchase goes toward our partnership with Baskets of Care, a local nonprofit that supports those affected by breast cancer through comfort baskets, educational resources, and helpful information.

🎀 $1 Car Air Fresheners: Stop by our front desk to grab a $1 air freshener. 100% of the proceeds benefit Baskets of Care.

We’re proud to stand together, give back, and support our community this Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 💗

🎒 100 backpacks. 100 students ready for a great school year!

Through Toyota’s Big Summer Giveback and in partnership with Kids In Need Foundation, Yark Toyota was proud to help provide 100 backpacks filled with school supplies to students at Escuela SMART Academy for the 2026–2027 school year. 📚✏️

The school shared that this donation was a meaningful help for many local families — and that the children had big smiles on their faces as they picked out their new backpacks! 💙

We’re grateful to be part of an initiative that helps local students start the school year feeling prepared, confident and excited to learn.

Wishing the students at Escuela SMART Academy an amazing school year! 🎒📓

Keeping your little ones safe is always worth the time. 💙
Recently, Yark Toyota welcomed ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children's Hospital K.I.S.S. Car Seat Program alongside Toyota's Buckle Up for Life program. Their team educated families on the importance of proper child passenger safety and demonstrated how to correctly install and buckle children into their car seats.
Here are a few rear-facing car seat safety tips:
🚗 Keep your child rear-facing as long as possible, following the height and weight limits of your car seat.
🔒 Make sure the harness is snug—you shouldn't be able to pinch any excess webbing at your child's shoulders.
📍 Position the chest clip at armpit level.
🧥 Avoid bulky coats or blankets under the harness, as they can prevent a secure fit.
Want to make sure your child's car seat is installed correctly? To schedule an appointment or speak with a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician, call 419-291-7945.
A big thank you to the ProMedica K.I.S.S. Car Seat Program and Toyota's Buckle Up for Life program for helping keep our community's youngest passengers safe! ❤️

⚡🚗 HEV vs. PHEV vs. BEV… what’s the difference? 🤔

We’re breaking down the basics so you can find the ride that fits your lifestyle:

🔋 HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle)
Uses gas + electric power together. No plugging in required!

🔌 PHEV (Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle)
Runs on electric power for shorter trips, plus gas for longer drives. Charge it at home or on the go!

⚡ EV (Electric Vehicle)
100% electric. No gas. Just plug in and drive!
