🕢 Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
⚓ POSITION #1: YARD WORKER / MARINE YARD ASSISTANT
Do you have boating or waterfront experience, enjoy hands-on work, and aren't afraid to get dirty? We need someone who can jump in, lend a hand, and help keep our busy boatyard running smoothly!
What you'll be doing:
• Assisting with mooring barge work and waterfront operations.
• Helping with boat rigging and general yard duties.
• Assisting with hauling, launching, and preparing boats.
• Bottom painting, boat cleaning, and general maintenance.
• Moving equipment, handling materials, and keeping the yard organized.
• Assisting with boat handling and other hands-on marine work.
• Anticipating what needs to be done and jumping in without always having to be told.
What we're looking for:
✔️ Previous boating, waterfront, or boatyard experience.
✔️ Comfortable working around boats, equipment, and the waterfront.
✔️ Able to lift, work physically, and handle hands-on tasks.
✔️ Willing to get dirty and tackle the less glamorous jobs!
✔️ Dependable, hardworking, and able to work well with others.
✔️ Someone with initiative who pays attention and sees what needs doing.
Experience with rigging, moorings, bottom painting, or boat handling is a definite plus!
🔧 POSITION #2: PARTS DEPARTMENT / STOCKROOM PERSON
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and good at keeping things running behind the scenes? We're looking for someone to manage our parts and stockroom operations and help ensure our mechanics and service crew have what they need when they need it!
What you'll be doing:
• Receiving, organizing, and maintaining parts, supplies, and equipment inventory.
• Ordering parts and materials and following up with vendors.
• Locating and distributing parts to mechanics and service technicians.
• Keeping the stockroom clean, organized, and efficient.
• Tracking inventory, updating records, and assisting with inventory counts.
• Researching parts, checking pricing, and communicating with vendors.
• Coordinating deliveries and making sure parts are available when needed.
• Working with the office, service department, and yard crew.
• Helping with other general boatyard duties as needed.
What we're looking for:
✔️ Previous parts, inventory, stockroom, or similar experience preferred.
✔️ Marine, boating, automotive, or mechanical knowledge is a plus.
✔️ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
✔️ Comfortable using computers, email, and inventory systems.(We use Dockmaster software, so bonus if you have e experience in that)
✔️ Able to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
✔️ Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to pitch in wherever needed.
✔️ Able to lift and move parts, supplies, and equipment.
✔️ A positive attitude and a team-player mindset!
