Hi parents,
If you know your child will not be available for the tournament on the 29th and they have MJGA golf clubs please return today either in Mathis or Alice when you pick up goody bags. Hope to see you next year, and hopefully it won’t rain too much in June. lol

Update!!! It has been confirmed with the golf course for the 29th!

News alert!

*Tournament is rescheduled for the 29th…..
Pending confirmation from golf course. They informed us that the course currently has standing water and grass will be too high to have both practice tomorrow as well as the tournament on the 22nd. This is also due to the anticipated bad weather in the upcoming days.

*That being said, we will not have practice tomorrow but we will be passing out the T-shirts/goody bags at both the Mathis and Alice practice locations at 5:30pm.

***Please comment if you’d like to pick up your bag/shirt in Alice that way we can have it there for you. Everyone else, please pick up your bag/shirt in Mathis.

Parents if you pre-ordered shirts, we will have those available as well, the cost is $20.

Any questions please message us. More tournament details will be shared as soon as made available to us.

Thanks again Sarah Martinez for donating the bags!! We love the way they came out and loved filling them up for our junior golfers!!

PRACTICE UPDATE……

Due to the abundance of rain, we will have to cancel practice for today.
We are hoping it clears up for Thursday, even if we have to practice in Mathis because we are told the golf course is flooded. Might also be looking at the 29th as the tournament date. More details to come!

Just wanted to share this info if your child is loving golf. The PAGA in Corpus holds a golf clinic the month of June and also ends with a tournament!
****It is a free clinic! ****

Fun fact, we used to take our boys back in the day and most of the time they came back with Medals.🏅 😊 Not to mention they also had good door prizes and our boys won a couple of golf sets through the years!! ❤️

**Please comment if your child still needs golf clubs. I know that a few were missing a putter, we are going to be getting more clubs this weekend. ***

Sorry I wasn’t able to take pictures this practice, although I did get two!! If any parents took some and willing to share message me and I will add them to this post.
See you in Alice on Tuesday!!! Weather permitting of course. I know we need rain, but hopefully it waits til after our tournament. lol
