Enjoying retirement on the beach.

Well it’s been a little over a year since we closed shop. I was told retirement would drive me crazy but I must say I’m really enjoying it. I don’t miss working weekends and having to get up every day for work. I do miss all my fellow employees, my wonderful customers and the great people I’ve met over the years.

Today is the final chapter of Tony‘s auto parts a.k.a. Tony’s high speed and pure oil. The inventory was sold to a small business guy like myself, in PA, and the store is empty. We have several shelves for sale but everything has been cleared out. It’s been a long road and it’s time for me to take a different path. I have so many wonderful memories over the 52 years of working at Tony’s. It was my pleasure to serve you throughout the years. Thank you thank you!

It comes with a heavy heart and mixed emotions, as I let everyone know that I will be closing the doors to Tony’s Auto Parts tomorrow. This past year has been a challenging one to say the least. I’ve worked at Tony’s for the past 52 years of my life. I started pumping gas for my Dad as a very young boy for Tony’s High Speed and Pure Oil. (Located across the street from our current location). This has been a huge part of my life and I hope my Dad is looking down in approval.

I am appreciative of our loyal customers and devoted employees who have helped to keep our family business in business for over 70 years! Thank you for everything! I will miss the morning coffee talks, all of the loyal customers that have become friends and my employees that are like family.
I’m looking forward to some relaxation and spending my retirement years as a beach bum in Florida.
Thank you ALL again you Will truly be missed.
