Corrigan Oil Speedway/Spartan Speedway/Lansing Speedway will celebrate its 70th anniversary on August 30th (Harvest). The event will be known as the “MOTÖRHEAD $1,000” brought to you by Performance Automotive NW. The term Motörhead comes from Bennie Miller and Kevin McShane who sponsored the $1,000 to win the AB and C FWD divisions. We will begin posting pertinent info until 8/29. We are now soliciting sponsorships with 100% of the proceeds being added to the already established purse. We are also selling laps at 10$ per. The lap board is in the scale house until 5 each race day and then in the souvenir booth. On top of that if you have ever thought of having a back stretch billboard at COS an 8x8 is 1,200 and 200 goes to the purse, 8x12 is 1,400, 300 goes to purse, 8x16 is 1,500, 400 goes to purse. Each billboard includes 4 2027 general admin season passes and we cover the production costs. The lineup is Mods running twin 35’s, for 70 laps(70th anniversary)-A,B, C-twins, laps tbd, Pures/Trucks, twins laps tbd, Mini wedge and Figure 8 Championship. More details as they develop.
