With the talk of our state eliminating vehicle inspections we want to be very open about what we see in our shop every day.

You might be shocked… 😳

A vehicle with out-of-state tags was towed in after driving on Highway 71 when a ball joint completely failed… causing the wheel to collapse while they were driving.

Once we got it in the shop, it got worse.
👉 Multiple ball joints were already failing
👉 The idler arm had so much play we could move it several inches by hand
👉 The corresponding wheel didn’t properly respond with the movement

That means this driver had little to no true control of their steering.

Let that sink in.

This wasn’t just dangerous for them… it was dangerous for EVERYONE on that road. Families. Kids. You.

And this is exactly why inspections matter.
These aren’t “minor issues,” these are vehicles one bump away from what could be catastrophic.

Inspections allow us the opportunity to catch issues before they become a major problem. It keeps the driver informed on any issues that may be arising.

If Missouri eliminates vehicle inspections, more vehicles like this stay on the road longer.

📣 We’re asking you to speak up
Reach out to your state representative and tell them to KEEP vehicle safety inspections in Missouri.

Because this isn’t about money.
It’s about safety and making sure we all make it home.
