🔥 Heavily Modified Pontiac G8 GXP | Paint Correction + XPEL Fusion Premium V2

You don’t see many Pontiac G8 GXPs anymore, and you definitely don’t see many built like this one.

This heavily modified GXP came into the shop for a full refresh inside and out. We started with a thorough paint correction to remove years of defects, haze, and imperfections while bringing back the depth and clarity in the paint.

Aside from some heavy rock chipping on the front end, the correction process made a massive difference, bringing this GXP back to life and dramatically improving the overall finish.

The interior received a complete cleaning and reset, getting everything back to a fresh, well cared for finish.

Once the exterior was dialed in, we protected the results with XPEL Fusion Premium V2 Ceramic Coating, adding incredible gloss, slickness, chemical resistance, and long term protection while making future maintenance much easier.

A rare Pontiac with plenty of attitude, now looking as good as it performs. 💪🔥

This brand new white Corvette Z06 came straight to us for a cleaner look, more privacy, and serious heat rejection.

We installed XPEL XR Black Ceramic Window Tint all the way around, giving the Z06 a darker, more aggressive appearance that looks incredible against the bright white paint.

Extensive Paint Correction And Ceramic Coating

Meet the newest addition to the Finishing Touch family, our 20,000 original mile 2005 Ram SRT10, powered by the legendary 8.3L Viper V10.

This truck came to us from the Moyer Collection in Pennsylvania, one of the largest privately owned Viper collections in the country. The mileage may be low, but 20+ years had definitely taken its toll on the paint. Heavy defects, oxidation, sun damage and years of wear meant this one needed A LOT more than a quick polish.

So naturally, we went all in.

We started with an extensive three step paint correction process.

First came the compound stage, aggressively leveling years of oxidation, deeper defects, scratches and neglected clear coat.

Next was the polishing stage, refining the finish and removing the haze and imperfections left behind from the heavy correction.

Finally, we finished with a jeweling polish, bringing out every last bit of clarity, depth and gloss from the black paint.

Some areas, particularly the wing, have suffered enough UV and sun damage that paintwork will eventually be necessary. But for now, we were able to turn the clock back and make this 20 year old truck look YEARS younger.

Then it was time to make it ours.

We added 3M 2080 Gloss Blue Fire rally stripes, tying the truck directly into David’s silver and blue 1999 Viper GTS. Same Viper DNA, now with a matching look.

Next, the tint team installed XPEL XR Plus Ceramic Window Tint for serious heat rejection, UV protection and a much cleaner appearance.

The final step was locking all that work in with our professional grade ceramic coating across the entire exterior, adding long term protection, incredible gloss, slickness and easier maintenance.

20,000 original miles.
8.3 liters.
10 cylinders.
Viper powered.

And now officially part of the Finishing Touch fleet.

You’ll definitely be seeing a lot more of this one.
