After many days of writing and rewriting this I think I'm finally ready to say what I need to. It is with heavy heart that I share the news of the closing of our family business, Walker Body Shop & Towing. After many years of operation, I have made the difficult decision to close. When Bill called Troy in 2010 and said he was wanting to retire and sell the business, Troy jumped at the chance. We packed and moved back from Colorado for him to follow his dream. Troy was honored to get the chance to continue what his Uncle Willis started many years ago. He put his heart and soul into it and worked long hours to grow the business. But, when Troy got sick and passed away, I was the one who had to jump in and take over. Owning the shop was Troy's dream and in 2017 that dream came true. Unfortunately, God had a different plan and threw a curve ball with him getting cancer. I want to thank those special people that have helped me along the way through this journey. I couldn't have done it without them. To those that worked for us, Kiernan Walker, Tyler Walker, Tracy Bix, Adam Thompson, Drew Wiederholt, Ron Wiederholt, Pam Dougan and Valerie Cowden, you will always be part of our family and I couldn't have done this without you. I will be forever grateful for your dedication and commitment to Troy, Kennedy, Eli & I. To James Aley, Marshall Shell, Dan Kizer & Zach Kizer, thank you for always checking in on me and always being willing to help any time I had a question! Thank you to my kids, Kennedy & Eli for always encouraging me and being so supportive. You two have been so through so much these last couple of years and I'm so proud of you both. Bill Walker, thank you for the opportunity you gave Troy to follow his dream. I would also like to express my appreciation to our customers for their support over the years. I will always be grateful for the memories and relationships I have gained through this. Last but not least, thank you to 4 very special people, that have helped me pack, move everything and kept me going through this hard time. I couldn't have done it without you!!!
