Customer came in with an unrelated rattle and we stumbled upon a torn cv boot and worn brake pads and rotors. It’s not just oil changes and tires happening at Service L**e. Today a transfer case replacement is going in this Chevrolet Equinox. One of the reasons they go bad is because of the difference in tire tread depth when only replace 2 tires at a time. Believe it or not, with all wheel drive vehicles a few 32nd difference in tread depth can cause a catastrophic failure within the drivetrain.
