Maintenance is critical! Pickup had a burned up vacuum pump, when the old pump came off you could see where the oil feed was clogged. Then doing the oil change the oil would not flow, there were chunks in the oil. 2012 6.7 powerstroke.

I am sure you have heard about the CP4 fuel injection pump failing. When the pump fails metal filings are sent through the entire fuel system. To fix the contamination of metal, all new injectors, fuel lift pump, fuel injection pump, fuel lines, pulling the fuel tank and cleaning the tank. This fix for this is $15,000. Save yourself over $10,000 by replacing the CP4 with it's know issues. We offer the S&S DCR conversion for the 6.7 Powerstroke, installed. starting at $3682.68.

Here is a valve body from a 1966 Galaxy 500 XL C-6 transmission. We had to pull and we had a hard time figuring out where the ball were supposed to go. We were not able to find any information on the 1966. As it turns out the 1966 model year was the first year for the C-6 and they changed it in 1967. The first picture is the one we had. I called a expert out in New York and he sent me the 2nd picture. The red circle is the most noticeable difference between the 1966 and the newer for identifying. So the 2 balls go in yellow circle and the red box is a ball on top of a spring. The other yellow circle and blue X did not apply to ours.
