We are looking to fill a position in our shop. Painter or Auto Body Tech a combo person would do as well. Minimum of 5 years experience, own tools, sanders and at least one paint gun. A valid drivers license is required. Must do quality repair work, have ability to weld, understand adhesives and do filler work when necessary. Painters must be able to match color, be cost conscious and mix your own paint. Sanding and buffing may be required from time to time. Well, well after my wife went out sick I found out what she has been having to put up with from Progressive Insurance and others. One of their staff appraisers wrote an estimate at a discounted labor rate from 4 years ago and is refusing to pay for current repair rates and several other necessary repairs and materials needed to fix a customers car. Beware if you are hit by one of their Insureds or use them for your car Insurance. They are using threatening statements against us and our 25 year old business because I won't just roll over and except the loss of about 40% of our income on these repairs. Well, well. Another customer that said, "It's not going to be a showcar" got an award for his 81 Chevy Stepside. It was a labor of love for him to repair and rebuild his brothers "Old Truck" We re-repaired some old repairs, stripped it and fixed some rust and re-painted it. This is what we enjoy about customizing and customer satisfaction.
