Hey there, faithful friends. We have some exciting updates to announce! 🎉🙌🏻

👉🏻 On April 7th of this year, Clint joined our team & he’s been an absolute blessing - to both us & our customers. He has the experience, care, godly attitude, & drive to get stuff done! We sure appreciate him; we didn’t realize how much our shop needed his influence until he came. Thank you, Lord!

🎀 On May 20th, our oldest son, Jessee & his wife McKenna welcomed their baby girl, Lilly Ann into this world. She’s absolutely perfect & we love her as much as possible, & we definitely want to see her more! Thank you, Lord!

🌩️ I wish we could say it’s all been rainbows & marshmallows around here, but when the Lord wants to use you for His glory, be prepared for a rough season of Him burning the imperfections out of your life. James 1:2-3 tells us to “consider it pure joy, my brothers & sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know the testing of your faith produces perseverence.” Thank you, Lord!

🙋🏼‍♀️ So, how many of you are just going through “it” right now? You can’t begin to understand the trials & you persistently cry out to the Lord, asking Him why He doesn’t do something to relieve the suffering & to reveal the truth. I want to encourage you: don’t give up & don’t give in. Hold your tongue & turn the other cheek. God’s ways are much mightier than our own, there’s nothing He fails to see, & we can always trust Him. “We know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28. Thank you, Lord!

🙌🏻 And here we are: we don’t have room to hold the blessings the Lord is pouring out on us and we’re just so thankful & humbled that we ever doubted. So for those of you that’ve called us to say you’ve been with us since 2009 & you’ll be with us to the end: we thank you for the encouragement. For those of you that’ve let us know that you’re now returning, as you noticed untortunate changes over the last decade, Jessee’s back in the front. And the back for now. 😜

We’re still here.

We care.

And we’re still just so thankful for your trust & friendship.

Jim’s been a friend for many years, since he leased us our 1st shop building on Fishel Way in 2009. He’s from the generation that worked - no matter what - & we all have much to learn from him! Between him & his better half, our parking lot stays cleared & the guys’ appetite are fed & we’re so thankful!

Hey there, friends. Can you help us with something? Going out on a limb here, as I forgot to post this until now, but TOMORROW is the LAST day to fill the box for Freeway Ministries’ Every Kid Gets a Christmas. And we’d love to have your help.

If you’re out and about tonight, grab a toy & bring it by the shop in the morning. There’s a large box in the waiting room, just waiting to be filled to the brim with toys.

Hello, friends.

What an opportunity to test our faith, we’ve been handed! Information is available; opinions are everywhere. May we make sure to feed our faith, first, and seek HIS wisdom, only.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. Give thanks.

Be assured that we are praying and planning on how to further handle this at A&J. You may be inconvenienced, further, as we do our best to protect all of our customers and employees. God has been faithful to allow this business to support our 3 families, and He will continue to do so. We rejoice in this.

We pray for His direction. We pray for those of you that have lost your income, that are tempted to be fearful, and that are ill. God will provide.

We thank Him for providing our needs, and removing distractions that keep us from hearing from Him.
