I wanted to inform everyone regarding the current status of SWM in the USA.

Background on CPD and SWM:

CPD has patiently supported SWM in the USA for the past 2.5 years, despite SWM providing only a single model (the 2024 RS300) and no 500cc or adventure bikes. We repeatedly requested necessary changes to the 500 platform, such as a single exhaust and a larger fuel tank and to start homologation testing on new models for the USA.

We were excited to see a revised prototype of the RS500 at Eicma in 2024 with more fuel capacity, single exhaust, and new plastics (more durable) with the intention to introduce it to the USA market. However, SWM continuously had delayed production timeframes, and we never received the product for homologation testing.

Recent Developments and Meeting at Eicma 2025:

A week prior to Eicma 2025, I was sent a "termination of agreement" by SWM management. Less than ten minutes later, another email arrived requesting a meeting at Eicma 2025 to discuss SWM future business for the USA.

I met with two NEW corporate managers at the event to discuss possibilities for SWM in the USA. SWM has indicated they are soon ready to focus on the USA market, not just with their motorcycles, but also with their ATVs and UTVs that debuted at Eicma this year. We hope this is true.

We are in the progress of ongoing discussions about the future of SWM for the USA. We look forward to continuing these conversations in January and February with the goal of reaching a mutual agreement to successfully relaunch and distribute SWM products this coming summer.

Current Support and Next Steps:

We will continue to place air freight orders once a month and support dealers with technical and warranty items. We also have a large stock of parts inventory already in our warehouse.

Based on the termination notice, we could have simply walked away, but again, we believe in supporting the dealers, customers and the product. We have done everything possible with the minimal models provided to us to maintain the dealers and customers desires.

We will provide more information on the direction and timeframe for SWM in the USA once we know more ourselves. Until then, we remain here to support SWM dealers, customers, and enthusiasts, hoping for a better future.
