With the incredibly sad news that The Landing is closing, Lakeview is now in the midst of calculating whether they should purchase piers for boat docking. If you have interest in keeping your boat on the lake, please give them a call, let them know if the investment would be worth it. Not much better than grabbing a burger and Pepsi before hitting the lake.

Some recent negative, and unconstructive comments were recently posted about Lakeview. Christy posted a perfect rebuttal, thats gained so much attention, and support!!! Way to go Little Sis. And heck yeah we need to support our neighbors; and last remaining restaurant on the lake. I remember this fall, I was busy all day cleaning the ditch, and I called Lakeview for a quick meal. Shanda asked what time I wanted it done at. I walked in at the time and picked it up, so convenient.

Sadly, ever so sadly, another camping season has come to an end. 😌 The water will be shut off Saturday night. And the gate will be put on and closed Monday, until the cement cures. We're getting the entrance fixed this year! Can't wait till we open next year. Hopefully the winter goes like this fall.
