MABRIE'S SAFETY MINUTE!

It's rainy, chilly, and looking like most of the boating season has officially come to an end. Not us we always have a boat in the water year round!!!

Today's topic: FIRE EXTINGUISHERS!

Mabrie wants to remind all you lake lovers that having a fire extinguisher aboard your boat is one thing… knowing where it is and how to use it is another!

Know where your fire extinguisher is located.

Make sure it's properly charged and in good condition.

Check that it's readily accessible — not buried under all your lake-day goodies!

Know how to use it BEFORE an emergency happens.

And remember the PASS method:

🧯 P — Pull the pin.

🧯 A — Aim at the base of the fire.

🧯 S — Squeeze the handle.

🧯 S — Sweep from side to side.

Only attempt to extinguish a small, contained fire if it's safe to do so. If the fire is spreading, prioritize everyone's safety and call for emergency help.

Mabrie says, "The only thing I want HOT on my pontoon is the summer sunshine!"
