We have some sad news to share 😢
Trudy Vargason
A forever friend of the Johnson family and so many others, Trudy, passed away last week.
Trudy Vargason, born on July 15, 1959, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, loyalty, hard work, and friendship that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Trudy was a devoted mother, proud grandmother, trusted friend, and valued member of the Skan-Ellus Drive In family for many years. Known for her warm smile, kind heart, and tireless work ethic, she touched countless lives through her generosity, compassion, and unwavering dedication to both her family and her work.
Among the greatest joys in Trudy's life were her son, Tim Vargason, and her beloved grandson, Noah. She shared a special bond with Noah and loved taking him to work with her whenever she could. Those moments allowed her to spend precious time with him while teaching him one of the values she held most dear: the importance of hard work. Through her example, she showed Noah that dedication, responsibility, and pride in a job well done are among life's greatest rewards. The lessons she passed on to him and so many other young workers will remain a lasting part of her legacy.
Trudy was more than an employee of Skan-Ellus Drive In; she was part of the family. Through years of faithful service, she became a trusted friend and a familiar face to coworkers, customers, and generations of families who visited the drive-in. Her reliability, positive spirit, and genuine care for others made her an irreplaceable part of the business and of the lives of those who worked alongside her. She took great pride in her work and formed lasting friendships that extended far beyond the workplace.
Those who knew Trudy will remember her for her strength, kindness, sense of humor. She had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcome and appreciated, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
