Our season is off to a great start! Thank you to all of our customers, for whether you have purchased a new machine, got one serviced, or simply stopped in to talk to our staff, you are the reason we love our job so much. Bike lowering has been a popular service item this year; in fact, we have lowered about 10 motor cycles since March. Comfort is very important when you ride, and there are many things you can do to increase your satisfaction while doing so. If you are tippy toeing while at the stop lights, then please let us fix that. Joe and KC have many years of suspension alterations under their belts and could turn an "okay" ride into your favorite. We are running the WFO off road circuit again this year and look forward to our next race on May 24th. We also would like to plan some rides in the coming months. Byron motorsports park has approached Joe about a "soft landing" when we do arrive. This would include track side seating and beverages. This is something we have not really done in the past, but it sounds like an exciting adventure with our friends. A few destinations on our list were, Byron Dragway, Motorsports Park, Starved Rock, Galena, and White Pines for their awesome Sunday breakfast buffet. Many of us simply do not have the time needed to join a local riding club and attend the meetings, but a destination ride sounds extremely fun. Perhaps we can try out a few outings and get a feel for each other, then maybe a longer trip can be planned; such as, Land Between the Lakes or something. We are dedicated to our customers and would be honored to facilitate these excursions and offer our support along the way. Rumor has it that Joe and Chuck have recently purchased some large touring bikes and are itching to put some miles on this season. Please stop out to see our larger showroom, which has had great customer response, and get excited for the best season EVER!

The first race is less than 2 weeks away!! Come join us for a day of fun in Keithsburg IL!!!! If you have any questions on how to get started racing in district 17 events, then please call us at 815-895-5251. We enjoy getting new riders into the hare-scramble style of racing. This particular event can be enjoyed by expert riders to beginner riders. Many of our current friends have been long time street riders that have found a renewed interest in the joys of riding off-road! We hope to see you there and offer support to riders who attend these events in the form of mechanical assistance and a reduction at the parts counter. Let the 2015 season begin!!

The service department has received their first motorcycle of the season today!! We offer free local pickup on sport bikes, Atv's, and off road bikes. Do not hesitate to get yours in early, as it will get very busy in the coming month. We are currently expanding our showroom and are very excited to offer our customers a unique experience while visiting Bob-Jo Cycle. We have had great success selling used motorcycles and Atv's, so if you have one you would like to upgrade or move yours to another owner, then please call us (815-895-5251) for consignment details. The first off road race of the season will be in Keithsburg, Il on March 22nd. We have attended this race for two years now and are very excited compete in the WFO series again. We will be racing at http://motobyron.com/ Byron Motorsports Park on Sunday August 24th!!! Bob-Jo Cycle will be sponsoring five riders, including, Joseph Bail, Kenneth Baie, William Schumaker, David Jarneke, and Bradley Holder. The whole team is managed by Daniel Saathoff of Bob-Jo Cycle.. Joseph will be trying out a ridercam 720hd, which records high definition video and audio, and will post a video after the event to take you on a ride around the track! Admission is only ten dollars, and kids get in free! This is one of the final rounds of the http://wfopromotions.com/ WFO championship series, and it will prove to be a race worth coming to. Had a great time with friend's and family while in St Elmo. Joe Bail and team were there racing MX in Mason IL. Dan was pit manager keeping Joe and Dave running strong . Keep in mind that this track was 5 miles long and this class run's non-stop for 1 1/2 hours. Despite these conditions, Joe ran with fractured ribs from last weeks race and Dave ran with a prior hand injury. Great job BOB-JO Cycle.
