Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and organized Service Writer & Parts Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for managing customer service requests, writing service orders, coordinating with technicians, and overseeing parts inventory and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet customers and assist with service and parts needs
• Write and manage service work orders from start to finish
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, timelines, and costs
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Order, receive, and manage parts inventory
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
• Process parts sales and special orders
• Handle phone calls, scheduling, and follow-ups
• Ensure a clean, organized parts and service area
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in service writing, parts management, or a related role preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Basic computer skills (inventory systems, invoicing, etc.)
• Mechanical knowledge of trailers is a plus (but not required)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
