Flashback Friday - 40 Years of Toppers & Trailers Plus

Looking back at these photos, it's hard to believe how much has changed in the 40 years. A bigger building, more products and more locations but still the same local business.

In 1986, Leroy and Deb started Toppers and Trailers Plus in Mankato with a small rented store, a three-car garage and a lot of hard work.

In 1989, they purchased property on the east side of Mankato and turned that garage into a showroom and installation facility. As the business grew so did the building.

In 1992 they added a building expansion. Then another major addition in 2002 created the facility you see today.

In 2017, Toppers & Trailers Plus expanded again with the second location in Le Sueur.

And now in year 40 a third location in Cannon Falls.

We are grateful to everyone who has been a part of this journey. We hope you can join us September 11 for our 40th Anniversary Celebration Event in Mankato

Happy National Dog Day!

Here at Toppers we have a few four-legged front door greeters who like to make an appearance at the store. You never know which one will be here, but they’re always ready to say hello and soak up a few pets.

They make people smile the second they walk in the door. And honestly, sometimes I think they know we need the love just as much as they do.
