We're excited to give you a sneak peek at one of our newest in-house designed products!
Introducing our 3D-printed License Plate Micron Mount, modeled after our popular Front Intersector Dual Whelen T-Ion License Plate Mount. This new version is specifically designed for Whelen Micron lightheads.
The goal? Maximum stealth with effective intersection warning.
By mounting the Microns behind the license plate, the lights remain virtually hidden from the front of the vehicle while still providing outstanding side warning as you enter an intersection. It's the perfect solution for unmarked, administrative, detective, and other low-profile vehicles where maintaining a clean, factory appearance is important without sacrificing safety.
👀 You may notice the prototype is printed in multiple colors. That's intentional!
All of our prototype parts are printed in PLA so we can quickly test fit, refine, and improve the design. We purposely avoid printing prototypes in black so there's never any chance of a prototype being mistaken for a production part. It also helps us put our partial rolls of filament to good use.
When this mount is released, every production unit will be printed in durable black ASA filament, providing the UV resistance and weather durability needed for years of reliable service on emergency vehicles.
We're putting the finishing touches on the design now, and we can't wait to get these into your hands.
