Members post training classes of interest to responders and also news posts that have to do with Firefighters, Police, EMS, Fire Police, Ambulance Service Personnel, Red Cross, etc.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am retiring from my position as a PSFA instructor the end of 2023.😁Well into my 70's now, I plan to devote more time to my family, friends, travel and of course my farm. I'll be leaving this page up so people can contact me.

Time is running out to register for the Advanced Fire Police Operations class being hosted by Campbelltown Fire Company on the weekend of December 10th and 11th. This is a great class for all fire police officers and a must for fire police captains and lieutenants. The question has been asked many times; must you have the basic class (BFPO) before taking the AFPO class… the answer is NO. To enroll in this class you may contact their FP captain (J. Haak) at [email protected] or Amber deCourcy at [email protected] . Campbelltown Fire Co. is in Lebanon county. Out-of-county students are welcome to enroll.

Another busy weekend instructing a large BFPO class in Susquehanna County of almost two dozen students. Because of the number of students academy standards called for two instructors and as always I enjoyed working again with fellow instructor Rob Hill. While the training was at at Hallstead Fire Company, there were several students from neighboring Allegheny County. For anyone looking for a Advanced Fire Police Officer class, I have one planned for early December in Lebanon County. I will post more details as things are finalized.
