In New York, access isn’t given. It’s engineered.
This project in Harlem required inspections across multiple elevations of the property — each with different constraints, limited positioning options, and active city traffic.
From the outside, it looks like a standard lift setup.
In reality, the entire operation depended on horizontal reach.
The lift stays where the street allows. The boom does the rest.
With extended side outreach, we were able to reach across setbacks, work around trees, and access upper sections of the façade.
Behind that reach:
Coordinated street closures across multiple streets
DOT permits secured and scheduled around cleaning time
Traffic control in active intersections
Limited positioning due to trees, parked vehicles, and building offsets
Multiple setup points to fully cover the façade
This is where most projects slow down.
Not because of the work at height — but because of everything happening at street level.
Alpha Platforms’ operated rentals are built around that reality.
We don’t just provide a lift.
We handle the logistics around it, delivering an all-inclusive service — so the crew in the air can focus on the inspection, not the process.
Because in a city like New York, ex*****on depends on two things:
The right equipment — and the control to use it properly.
