The quick oil change facility did not notify the customer of a potential problem with this battery that could leave them stranded or worse. At Jimmy Nelson’s Automotive we strive to keep you from being in precarious situations. How could they not see this? Inexpensive baking soda and water mix neutralizes this, keeping other parts of your car from being eaten by the acid fumes of this leaking battery. Left unattended it will cause costly damage to many nearby components.

During this time of Covid 19, we remain open and take all the precautions to keep everyone safe. Please help spread the word we have a fully trained and up to date Master Certified Toyota / Lexus technician so you do not have to go to the dealer for service or repairs. Our office can accommodate a safer environment because we have fewer people at our facility than the dealer. We can also service your Acura, Honda, Nissan and Infiniti vehicles. Please call for an appointment. You may also drop off and pick up your can without personal interactions. Thank you for business.

During this time of dealing with COVID-19 and taking care of our elderly family and friends, don’t forget their car that has sat for weeks at a time. These cars may not start due to a dead battery. The multiple computers and devices that must maintain a memory while the car sits will drain the battery in just a few weeks. This leaves those folks in a precarious situation if they have an emergency needing to use the car. Take the car for a drive for an hour or so weekly if possible. Short trips will not help. It also helps keep rodents from setting up house.

Comes see us if the need arises, where we only employ dealer / factory trained technicians. This is a must if you want the proper service for your vehicle. All makes are not designed the same. Our facility is different than most.

A big welcome to the newest member of my team, Troy Leeper. His 1969 Mustang he restored is one awesome ride. Troy brings 30 plus years of professionalism in the industry. Those of you who know me will agree I seek out the best to provide quality service for my customers. Like all of my employees, Troy has factory training at the dealer level. That is the best you can get. I have never employed anyone with out this level of training. It is a must today for the level of high tech items on cars we service. Thank you for your business.
