to take a risk buying a car in the price range they can afford without knowing the condition of the
engine or transmission. Some people I have spoken to who bought a used car were not aware that the
warning codes were cleared by the seller so the warning lights on the dashboard no longer lit up and
they didn’t find out what the hidden mechanical problems were until 4 or 5 weeks later.
