It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of long time employee and friend, Carlos Brumley. Carlos dedicated the last 18 years of his life to Allen’s Used Cars and Allen’s Towing & Recovery. He was very loved by every person here.

Carlos joined us in 2006 as a frame repairman for the used car business. His skillset was one that has been lost as the generations have passed, and one that is truly irreplaceable. He contributed years of knowledge and experience in every aspect of vehicle repair, and probably built well over 1,000 cars while he was here. As time has passed and our business has grown and evolved, so has Carlos’ role here. The past few years, Carlos has devoted much of his time to the repair and building of our tow truck fleet. It is easy to look at our fleet and see the beautiful finished products, but we have built most of these trucks in house and Carlos’ skills have played a huge role in fabricating what you see as the face of Allen’s Towing today. He has worked on nearly every truck we have, from light duty rollbacks up to the 75 ton rotator. The growth and expansion of our business would have been greatly hindered without Carlos’ contributions.

Carlos had a very easy going and loving personality. He had many great stories to tell and kept the guys in the garage laughing. There wasn’t much he hadn’t seen or done over the years. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, and so much more, and was very devoted to his family. He also shared our love of drag racing, and spent many weekends hanging out at the track with family and friends. Carlos will be very missed by all of us.

Please join us in praying for and offering our deepest condolences to the Brumley family. We love you all!
