Mike Licari has lived in Mammoth Lakes for 25 years and has over 30 years of automotive repair experience. Mike began repairing cars at the age of 18 while working for General Motors of Southern California, but the majority of his experience has been in Mammoth. Mike spent 17 years with one of the popular local auto repair shops, 3 years at Mammoth Automotive and 3 years at Perry Motors in Bishop.
Mike also has extensive experience with 4WD and off-road vehicle setup, having spent 23 years fabricating and racing off-road and pro-rally cars. Mike has worked on many electrical and mechanical components of classic car restoration projects. The lifelong passion that Mike has felt for cars and their components led him to establish his own business, Mountain Motors Auto Repair, where he can focus on each car that enters the shop with his standard of perfection and expertise.
