Things like this are not ok to put back on a vehicle. It’s a big risk for me and everyone else on the road if it fails.
Sometimes it’s better to just bite the bullet and sped a little extra to prevent further damage.

Sometimes the things that don’t seem like it can be the issue. Helped a customer today who had an issue with the radiator fans failing to shut off. I tried by pressurizing the cooling system (it did have an air bubble), but that didn’t solve it. Turns out the a/c system is too low on Freon and it caused the fans to stay on.
