Look, I know half the reason people put car repairs off is because dealing with being WITHOUT the car is a whole problem by itself. 😅
You gotta find a ride, bother family, leave work early, coordinate schedules… it turns into a whole production over a basic repair or maintenance schedule.
So here’s what I’m doing at Gearhead.
If your vehicle needs to stay with us and you’re within about 10 minutes of the shop think 29th and Maize/Tyler/Ridge area-ish — we’ll either help get you home with an Uber or possibly pick the vehicle up/drop it off depending on scheduling.
I just genuinely get that life is busy and the transportation side of car repair is sometimes more stressful than the bill itself.
Also… some of y’all are DRIVING on borrowed time right now. I’ve seen the tires, brakes, suspension and mystery dashboard Christmas trees lately. Y’all are out here freeballing reliability and hoping for the best. 🤣
So if the car’s making noise, shaking, leaking, clunking, smelling weird or flashing lights at you like a slot machine… let’s probably handle that before it handles you.
