Custom Comfort Meets CVO/ST Style

This Harley-Davidson CVO/ST Road Glide owner wanted the ultimate combination of long-distance comfort and factory-inspired styling, so he sent us his Harley-Davidson Sundowner seat along with his tour pack backrest for a complete custom transformation.

For comfort, we completely reworked both the rider and passenger seating areas using our renowned Double Decker Memory Foam Modification. Each seating position was reshaped and rebuilt with dual layers of premium memory foam specifically designed for sitting applications, tailored specifically to the rider's and passenger's individual weight requirements. The result is significantly improved support, pressure distribution, and all-day riding comfort.

For the custom cover, we carefully recreated the look and feel of the original CVO/ST seat design while adding our own premium touches. We utilized a factory-matching material for the main seating surfaces, accented with luxurious black Alcantara and black carbon fiber side panels. To elevate the overall appearance, all top stitching was completed in our high-contrast S-8 Red thread, providing a richer, more vibrant look than the factory stitching and creating an eye-catching finish that perfectly complements the CVO/ST styling.

To maintain a clean, refined appearance, we kept the face of the tour pack backrest smooth and elegant while incorporating Alcantara and carbon fiber accents to seamlessly tie it into the seat design.

This seat and backrest combination is going to look incredible once installed, and we can't wait to see photos of the completed motorcycle.

Another custom masterpiece completed by the team at Mean City Cycles!

This 2024 Harley-Davidson Road Glide seat received a complete comfort and styling transformation designed specifically for long-distance riding and premium aesthetics.

For rider comfort, we performed our popular Double Decker Memory Foam modification in the driver's seating area, along with a layer of memory foam for the passenger. Both seating positions were upgraded with tailbone relief channels to help reduce pressure and improve all-day comfort. We also lowered the rider's seating position and narrowed the thigh area to provide improved footing and greater confidence when stopped.

To complement the comfort upgrades, we created a completely custom cover inspired by the classic styling of the 2014 Road Glide seats. The design features premium black Alcantara inserts, accented with our signature S8 High Contrast Blue stitching throughout. The finishing touch came from the talented team at ASR Graphics, who provided the perfectly matched embroidery featured on the driver's backrest section.

The result is a seat that not only delivers exceptional comfort and support but also turns heads wherever the bike goes. And that blue stitching absolutely pops!

2024 Harley-Davidson Road Glide seat. We did our Double Decker memory foam for the driver's sitting area, wide double decker for the passengers sitting area, and made a new custom cover for it using Mustang seats smooth black. All top stitching is done in our high-contrast S8 black thread. Looks amazing and even better in person.

2026 Indian Scout. We performed our Double Decker Memory foam modification to the driver's sitting area and made a new custom cover for it with red double diamond stitching in both sitting areas and ASR Graphics embroidered the Red "I" in the driver's backrest section of the seat for us.

One of the baddest bikes Harley-Davidson has ever offered, the 2022 Harley-Davidson Low Rider El Diablo. Alecia sent us her seat for the Memory foam modification, lowered the riding position, and narrowed the thigh area to achieve better footing, and topped it off with a new custom cover with Double Diamond Stitching in the sitting areas and ASR Graphics in Maiden, NC, embroidered the devil on the driver's backrest section of the seat. A customer sent us this seat to be made more comfortable. When I felt the seat, I could tell something was off, but wasn't sure what, so I cut away the top layer of foam to see what was going on. Well, things that make you go...Hmmmm? That is a very small gel pad and certainly not where it should be. The customer said it is a stock factory seat, but it's actually a cheap Chinese seat that a company is selling here in the States, claiming they manufacture it. Needless to say, we have fixed it, and it is on its way back to the customer, where it will be a thousand times better.

I see cheap seats for sale on eBay and Amazon all the time. I've purchased them to and as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for has always prevailed with them.
