On This Day, we have all decided enough is enough! Time for our community to come together at the end of this day and accept they out come of this election. We can do so much more together; wishing each candidate the best.
Monroe County, Tn. 2026 ELECTION DAY
Sometimes we just have to slow down, take a breath, get away from all the noise and remember what brought us to a moment. That’s where I am this morning.
This election to me is about three things. Family, Direction and Choice.
Back in July when I announced my intention to run for the office of Monroe County Sheriff I didn’t know what to expect. I was unsure of the response I would get but I knew in my heart that I needed to do this. I want to thank my family, both blood and community for the love and support they have shown me and my family during this time.
I have been asked what direction or vision I have for the department if elected. My answer is simple but the goal is lofty, I want to build a department that sets the standard for law enforcement. A department that is a true reflection of the community that it serves. Choice is just that.
I just wanted to give the citizens of my county a choice in who their Sheriff was going to be.
I want to say thank you from myself and Tracie. Thank you to everyone that gave their time in working a poll and a Meet and Greet, to every person that shares our vision and to everyone that has and will cast their vote for me, thank you.
Today marks the end of this Primary and we will decide the direction for law enforcement for the next four years. Win or lose I will continue to serve the citizens of my great county like I have for the last thirty two years.
I have never been more humbled in my life. The support I have received from calls, messages and hugs reminds me how truly blessed I am. Blessed to not only serve my community but honored to be loved by it as well.
Remember what brought us all here and remember every vote counts.
From the bottom of my heart….Thank You!
