Congratulations Jordan!

Congratulations, Officer Jordan Neal, on being announced as the latest recruit of the Mayodan Police Department at tonight's Mayodan Town Council meeting. Not many years ago, Neal was a formidable competitor in junior classes racing for his dad and Gary Benfield; Jordan drove the Flying 99 for Hurd Racing in one race at Coleridge, finishing a strong second.

Scott has been retired from racing for a number of years but most know that he is Noah’s father in law. Come on up to Stateline and check us out tonight for the Night of Nostalgia.

🏁✨ Luke Pettit Wins at the Harvest Hustle! ✨🏁

The first night of the big Harvest Hustle at Thunder Hill Speedway brought a big moment — Luke picked up the R-Box win!

After spending much of the season finishing 2nd or 3rd and wrapping up 3rd in points at THS, it was exciting to see him finally break through for the victory. He qualified on the pole, won his heat, and once he got out front in clean air, Luke did Luke things and brought it home in the feature.

This one was made even more special with an all-female pit crew until features — led by Crew Chief Mom and Driver Safety Officer Grandma Pettit. Big thanks as well to Thill Racing for jumping in to help keep things rolling! 🧡

Prayer's to all of Robbie's family and friends that they find comfort in the days ahead.

Tonight, at Bowman Gray Stadium, a devastating accident occurred when Robbie Brewer had a heart attack during a restart in the sportsman series race, resulting in his vehicle colliding with the turn 4 wall. In order to rescue Brewer, safety crews had to peel back the roof of the race car. He was then rushed to a nearby hospital via ambulance, where he was pronounced deceased. Witnesses described the harrowing scene, stating that Brewer’s car accelerated into the wall at full throttle during a lap 16 restart. As a former Bowman Gray champion, Brewer’s untimely passing is deeply mourned. Condolences are extended to his friends, family, and all who knew him.

UPDATE: OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM BOWMAN GRAY STADIUM - “We are saddened by the passing of Robbie Brewer after he was transported to an area medical facility following an on-track medical incident during last night’s event at Bowman Gray Stadium. Robbie was a talented and passionate racer, and highly respected competitor among his peers. Our thoughts and prayers are with Robbie’s family and friends at this time.”

Congratulations to Logan Reynolds on his two wins at Stateline Speedway this past weekend. Logan won both Jr. 2 and Jr 2 Pro after grabbing the pole in Jr. w and starting 2nd in pro.
