Been awhile since we’ve posted an update so here we go!
Dealing with insurance is not always fun and is most definitely always very time consuming!
Since the first hail storm the phone at the shop has been ringing 24/7. It is taking weeks to input the estimates into the computer because we have over 80 of them and they are a very important and detailed step into making sure your claim is processed correctly.
Because of this, repair work in the shop has slowed when we were already booked out a at least a month in advance before this.
And just because it hailed doesn’t mean the deer 🦌 play nice and stay off the roads or wrecks have stopped and those vehicles are not drivable.
Now a lot of customers have been hit with a second wave of hail damage - this time it was bigger! HOLY HAIL is right! 🫣
Once we get all the estimates completed, (which we’re getting close) we can start scheduling work. We do have extra help that will come on board to help us when that step starts. The estimate part and dealing with adjusters on the phone for hours a day is the biggest part of this process.
If it seems as we’re not doing anything, we promise you we are.
We appreciate your patience - this is definitely a marathon, not a race. 🏁
For a one-man operation this has been a major event and we are working through it the best we can.
