CH.Detailing is headquartered out of the shop in Sun Prairie, WI but is able to serve clientele in the greater Madison, Milwaukee, and Rockford areas through a combination of mobile services and partner-shops in the area. Automotive detailing is the art of creating a refined aesthetic, and it requires copious amounts of time, passion, and determination. Proper detailing and paint correction works

to preserve your automotive investment and can even recondition neglected vehicles to a level that will rival much more costly and invasive restorations. Utilizing only the best products and the safest methods combined with an experienced and knowledgeable detailer will ensure that the work is done right, the first time. A thorough understanding of vehicle surfaces, the issues that affect them, and the appropriate methods to correct each issue is the key to effective detailing with long term results. Simply put, all the services I offer work to maintain a vehicle’s integrity and value, while simultaneously elevating the aesthetics to jaw-dropping levels. The transformation that every car receives is only half the battle. Without proper attention and maintenance the look of a freshly detailed finish will inevitably fade, this is why I make every effort to educate my clients on how to properly care for their vehicles. Not your standard Mustang, this example has been re-worked by the folks at Roush for a whole new look as well as a supercharger that cranks up the power levels to over 700 horsepower. The icing on the cake was actually done several years ago when we corrected and polished the paintwork, then treated it all with premium Modesta ceramic coatings. Its been a few years since that work was completed, but its still looking great and the coating was performing its best when it came stopped by for a refresh detail. We're not new to this, the results speak for themselves!

Brand new, fresh off the lot and straight into the workshop! This Lincoln Aviator is looking better than new, and protected from scuffs, dings, chips, and whatever else the road kicks up. It received paint protection film on the entire front end, as well as the entire sides of the vehicle. The paint was also polished up, and everything was treated with Modesta ceramic coatings for long lasting gloss and shine. Keeping a black SUV looking nice is a full time job, but we lay the foundation to make that job much easier!

Super stealthy! This new Tesla Model Y came straight to the shop for a transformation after being picked up at the dealership. New car prep, decon, and full body matte PPF application to make this metallic gray look incredibly sleek, while also protecting the factory paint from chips and scratches. Once the PPF was applied, the front windows were tinted to match the rear privacy tint, and Modesta ceramic coating was applied on top of the PPF for easy cleaning with improved stain resistance. The final product looks so menacing!

Throwback Thursday! Wayyy back to 2017 for my first trip to Monterey to join the Distinct Detail team at the Pebble Beach Concours. Scott at Distinct has an amazing group of clients that trust him with the rarest vehicles in the world, so it was a true privilege to be included on this team. We had an amazing yet exhausting week getting the cars up to spec, working incredibly long days to get it all done. Monterey Car Week is an automotive mecca, and a sensory overload for gearheads. A trip of a lifetime that I'd love to repeat someday!

An affinity for wagons runs in the family, my brother brought his E450 up from Illinois for a refresh and ceramic coating treatment. It received the usual detailing, decon, and he even lended a hand with the paint correction. The windows were also tinted, using Suntek ceramic IR film at 30%. We tried something new and laid down a layer of Zen-Xero coating. This is a new product to the US market and has been performing really well so far, showing excellent durability and water behavior. It is a professional grade product, and interested workshops should inquire with Echelon Coatings for more information.

Hysteria Purple (aka Blurple) is easily the best color I've seen on the C8, it accents the angles on the vehicle very well and is a really unique hue that you don't see often. This one received a track pack PPF coverage, which includes the entire front end, as well as the side skirts, lower doors, and sills. Its the perfect amount of coverage for a low slung sports car with sticky tires like this Z06! After that was completed, the exposed paint was completely polished to remove factory sanding marks and fine swirl scratches before being treated with Modesta ceramic coatings on the body, wheels, brakes, and glass. Its the ideal combination of protection to keep your new vehicle looking its best!

Paint protection film can do more than just prevent chips and scratches, it can totally transform the appearance of your vehicle! Matte PPF will take your gloss factory color, like this Shark Blue GT3RS, and create a shimmery matte surface instead. It takes a significant amount of work to do correctly, as the goal is to wrap as many edges and corners as possible so that no slivers of gloss show through. Once the matte conversion was finished up, this track weapon was further protected with Modesta BC-X ceramic coating on the film, BC-06 high temp coating on the wheels, and hydrophobic EGC on the glass.

Josh had a new Tundra on the way and reached out to us well before his truck arrived so he could have it protected right away. Be like Josh! This beauty isn't just a regular black truck, when the sun hits it there is a fine rainbow pearl effect that shows a lot of blues and greens. Josh wanted to keep his new rig looking great from day one, so we applied a partial front end coverage of paint protection film (PPF) to help prevent rock chips and road rash, while the rest of the vehicle was polished out to a high shine, fully detailed, then locked in with a treatment of Modesta BC-X ceramic coating. We also tinted the front two windows with 30% Suntek ceramic IR film to darken them a bit and add some heat rejection to the cabin. After it left my care Josh finished off the stealth appearance with a blacked out grill and auxiliary lighting package, which really set it off!
