Having trouble charging your MyChron 6? Fast phone chargers often won't work. Switch to a lower amp charger block, around 1.5 amps, to fix MyChron 6 USB-C charging issues. We've had multiple customers reach out after receiving a new MyChron 6 with charging issues. Simply using a slower 1.5a charger has solved the issue every time. When they are plugged into high speed chargers built for todays larger phone batteries, they don't charge at all.

Our quarter midget rookie starter bundles have been a big hit. One request that we had come up often was helmet options beyond the One Size Fits All youth helmet that came with the kit. We have added a second kit now that includes a full size shell SA2025 rated Allstar Helmet. These are great helmets at a great price with multiple sizing options from 54cm through 64cm fitting young drivers through adults. We're excited to announce that Vast is now stocking Zero Error gears, and they are a serious upgrade for your quarter midget program.

These gears are machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, the same aerospace-grade alloy used in high-performance motorsports and aircraft components. It's significantly stronger than standard 6061, holds up to the punishment of race conditions, and resists the kind of wear that eats cheaper gears alive over a season.

The black anodized finish isn't just for looks (though they do look sharp on the car). Anodizing hardens the surface, improves corrosion resistance, and helps the gears run cooler and cleaner lap after lap.

Vast has created a new tool for Quarter Midget racers to help determine proper gearing. https://my-qm.com is a simple to use gear chart and target RPM calculator. It's free to use and does not require any registration. Just enter in your current RPM, current gears and desired RPM, and it will give you the gears and ratio that will get you to your target RPM.

If you want to take it one step further, create a free account. This allows you to select the gears that you own and customizes the response to give you the gear combination using gears that you have that will get you closest to your target ratio.
