I get asked all the time, “Why Mini Stocks? They’re just an entry-level class, and full of front-wheel-drive cars.”
Here’s the vision: We’re inviting that tuner passion into our Pro Mini Stock fields, bridging tuner energy with stock car tradition. Thanks to Ferguson Waterworks’ $1,000-to-win purse and Mike Anderson Racing added $75 per car from 4th place on back at the prelude to the dream, developing teams can upgrade their gear and keep competing.
Even though it was cold and late, I noticed a younger crowd stuck around to watch. This is a generation of racers and fans we hadn’t reached—until now.
It’s thanks to supporters like Mike & Misty Anderson at Anderson 68 Racing and Troy Palmer with Ferguson Waterworks that we’re making this happen. Their support isn’t just helping us, it’s strengthening local tracks and fueling stock car racing’s future. one race, one team at a time!
