You may drive by Dad's Garage and notice an empty parking lot—but don't worry, we're still here and open for business!
As part of our continued investment in our property and our community, we're giving our parking lot a much-needed upgrade as demanded by the City of Macomb.
Since purchasing the building, we've made significant improvements, including installing all-new siding and a new roof so the entrance to Macomb is a bit more visually appealing than an empty building. We also funded—entirely with our own dollars—the replacement of a collapsed underground pipe that was causing flooding to neighboring homes and the street behind our building.
Our next project is paving the parking lot to meet city requirements. While these improvements are a significant investment, especially during a challenging time for many small businesses, we're proud to do our part and remain good stewards of our community. Apparently, a gravel parking lot is not visually appealing so, per the City of Macomb, it must be paved.
