Pontiac gave the 1969 GTO a cleaner face, and quietly took something away. Vent windows disappeared from the front doors that year, leaving a single pane of glass on each side. Drop the top and the whole flank goes smooth, which is part of why only 7,436 convertibles left the line against nearly 65,000 hardtops.

This one is a black over red four speed with the 400 numbers matching to the car, and PHS documentation to back the story up. The power top handles the open air part. Front discs and power steering keep it easy to drive, which is exactly what you want from a rare Goat you actually plan to use.

The Gladiator name dates to 1962, when Willys hung it on a full-size pickup built off the Wagoneer. Jeep brought it back for 2020, ending a truck drought that began when the Comanche was dropped in 1992. And it is no Wrangler with a bed bolted on. The wheelbase stretches roughly 19 inches past a Wrangler Unlimited.

This Brilliant White example takes that platform further with a SoFlo custom build, so it stands apart from the row of stock JTs at any trailhead. The 3.6L V6 and 8-speed automatic handle the driving, four-wheel drive and the removable hard top handle everything else. One owner, clean history, 31,041 actual miles.

The Tremor badge started out in 2014 on a regular-cab EcoBoost street truck, then quietly disappeared. Ford revived the name for 2021, this time as an off-road F-150. For 2023 the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 became the Tremor's standard engine, with the turbocharged V6 moved to the options sheet.

This one takes the V8 several steps further. A Whipple supercharger puts the Coyote at 915 horsepower, routed through the 10-speed automatic. Iconic Silver Metallic over Steel Gray, coil-over suspension underneath, and 8,368 actual miles on the clock.

Chevrolet gave the C7 two coastal-themed appearance packages for 2015, and almost nobody ordered them. Just 97 buyers checked the box for the Pacific Design Package on a Stingray coupe, a rounding error against the year's 25,000-plus Stingrays. 2015 also brought GM's in-house 8L90 eight-speed automatic, developed to handle the torque the old six-speed couldn't.

This one is a 2LT Z51 coupe wearing that rare Pacific package in Arctic White over Adrenaline Red, backed by the 6.2L LT1 and the eight-speed. One owner, clean history, 17,563 actual miles.

The 1974 Corvette wore a rear bumper cover no other year used: a two-piece urethane cap with a seam down the middle, added to meet the federal 5-mph rear standard. It was also the last Corvette built before catalytic converters, so true dual exhaust ran the length of the car.

This one is the small-block pick. Numbers-matching 350 backed by a 4-speed manual, with 46,236 actual miles behind it. Dark Brown Metallic over saddle, T-tops out, four-wheel disc brakes and 18-inch wheels underneath.

Chevrolet spent 1964 making the Sting Ray quieter. Extra sound insulation, redesigned body mounts and a revised shifter linkage went in to cut the noise and vibration owners griped about the year before. It was also the last season of four-wheel drums, since discs arrived as standard equipment for 1965.

This one keeps the '64 shape and upgrades the hardware. Power four-wheel discs and a TREMEC five-speed sit behind the 327, joined by power steering and cold A/C. Red on red, tilt wheel, and both the hard top and soft top come along.

The Z/28's 302 was born from a rulebook. Chevrolet needed to stay under the SCCA's 305-cubic-inch Trans-Am ceiling, so engineers put the 327's four-inch bore with the 283's three-inch stroke and got 302. For 1969 that solid-lifter small block carried the DZ block code.

This tribute follows the same recipe. DZ 302 up front, numbers-matching four-speed behind it, power four-wheel discs to slow it down. Burgundy over black vinyl with paint worth walking around twice, plus power steering and cold air for the drive home.

Dodge spent the late '70s selling trucks as "Adult Toys," and the Macho Power Wagon shared that showroom with the blacked-out Warlock and the Street Van. Built on the W150 from 1977, the Macho package brought bold two-tone graphics and a factory roll bar. The 440 big block sat at the top of the engine chart, rated at 180 horsepower for 1978.

This one carries the yellow-and-black scheme and the 440, backed by a three-speed automatic and four-wheel drive under a short bed. The factory air still blows cold, with power steering, front discs, tilt wheel and cruise sorting out the long hauls. The odometer shows 52,562 actual miles.
