This project combines performance, drivability, and modern reliability into one complete package. Equipped with a Tinker Dash, CalTracs suspension system, and a Holley Sniper throttle body, the setup is designed for both street presence and performance.
Under the hood, it features a Texas Speed Chopocobra camshaft, polished 243 heads with 660 springs, trunnion upgrade, chromoly pushrods, new cam/rod/main bearings, and freshly gapped piston rings for future upgrades. A high-pressure Melling oil pump ensures durability and consistent lubrication under demanding conditions.
Power is delivered through a built 4L80E transmission with a ported separator plate and 2500-stall torque converter, paired to an 8.8 posi rear end for dependable traction.
Suspension upgrades include QA1 coilovers up front, a 4-inch rear drop, and chassis refinements that provide both improved stance and ride quality.
One of the standout features of this build is that it still retains factory A/C—proving that comfort and performance can coexist. Some custom fabrication was required to make everything fit seamlessly, but the result is a clean, well-executed build that rides as good as it looks.
