We are still looking for diesel technicians so we are going to pull out all the stops! If you are VERY proficient on Ford, Dodge/Ram, and GM diesel, can bring me a resume, and show your worth we will pay you $5-$10 more per hour than you are currently making!! As some of you may know over there weekend one of our guys Adam Williams was in a accident that left him severely burned with 2nd and 3rd degree burns covering 60% of his body. Adam is probably one of the best people that you will ever meet. He would give you anything he had even if that meant he would go without. He would never ask for a handout and will probably be upset with me for making this post but there are times in everyone's life that they need a little help. He has a very long road of recovery in front of him and we want to make sure he has everything he needs during this time. We will be setting up a account at Commercial Bank of Texas tomorrow so that anyone that would like to help can do so. We will do everything at the shop to make sure that he doesn't miss a pay check during this time but we are asking anyone that would like to contribute in anyway to please do so. We are also going to try and plan some sort of benefit for him to get everyone together and show our support. We will post more info as we get it. Contributions can be made at our shop or with Amy Rogers at CBTX on First Street. We love you Adam and want you to know that we got your back!!

Well it is that time of year again were you may find yourself a little overwhelmed with Santa's duties. Just like years before we here at C&R AutoWerx want to help! If you have any toys that need to be assembled and you may not have to tools or time then just bring them by the shop and we will assemble them completely free of charge!! Anything from Power Wheels, bicycles, doll houses, or whatever else you may need help with. We are located at 2105 E. Denman Ave, Lufkin, TX 75901. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team! We are currently looking to fill a Service Writer position.

Our Service Writer acts as the primary liaison between customers and the service technicians in an automotive repair shop or dealership. Their main role is to ensure a smooth and clear communication process, manage workflow, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction: Greet customers, listen to their descriptions of vehicle problems or service needs, and ask clarifying questions to understand their requirements.

Documentation and Repair Orders: Accurately translate non-technical customer descriptions into detailed repair orders for the technicians.

Estimates and Communication: Develop cost and time estimates for repairs and clearly communicate them to the customer. Notify customers promptly of any changes, delays, or the need for additional work and associated extra costs.

Scheduling and Assignment: Schedule service appointments and assign jobs to the most appropriate technicians based on their skill level and current workload.

Monitoring and Follow-up: Monitor the progress of vehicle repairs to ensure quality and timeliness. Perform follow-up calls or emails to ensure customer satisfaction and schedule future maintenance.

Billing and Administration: Process customer payments, handle warranty items, and maintain accurate electronic records of all customer interactions, service history, and parts used.

Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints reasonably and resolve conflicts to ensure a positive customer experience.

Starting pay is $35k and year plus commission. More experience will obviously mean more money. Paid holidays and vacation. Monday-Friday 8-5 p.m
